I must be getting long in the tooth. What I now realise is the club is the constant whilst the players will always be the variable...
Norwich City have played the big fish over the years, an example being the gap left at Coventry when James Maddison came our way. If Huddersfield pick up Alex Pritchard all I can hope for is that we have a strategy to cope with a suitable replacement lined up.
Recent rumours suggest this is the case. Pritchard will be missed, he is unique to the City squad. The key differences from the majority of the Norwich City squad is that he is quick witted, runs at and scares the life out of defenders and above all, has a forceful shot which is more often than not on target.
Whilst we flounder in mid Championship, there will be plenty of clubs peering into our little goldfish bowl.
